As reported by CNET via Crave, Verizon has confirmed that Droid 4 by Motorola is being launched on Verizon with effect from Friday, February 10 and still at:
- Price: $199
- Contract: 2 Year
As disclosed at the occasion of CES, by Droid franchise in January, it would be a slide-out keyboard.
Droid would be a:
- 4G LTE performer
- Powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor
- Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich
- 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video
- Handy HDMI
- 4 inch qHD display with front-facing camera for Skype
- DROID 4 is the thinnest and very powerful 4G QWERTY smartphone with the edge-lit keys, really great for texting in the dark
- It is measured to be less than half an inch thin
According to Verizon, Droid 4 is a business class device with Government-grade encryption (FIPS 140-2) for:

- Contacts
The Droid 4 will be the fifth compatible phone for Lapdock 500 with:
- Photon 4G
- Droid Bionic
- Droid Razr
- Razr Maxx
- Verizon’s double data deal will provide the users with 4 GB for $30 a month instead of the regular 2 GB
