Facebook recently announced the new facebook chat which supports many new features.
Major feautres of new Facebook chat are:
- Group Chat
- Voice and video chat support
- Full conversation as archived messages
- Send links in chat
This new chat is packed with features but there are some disadvantages as well:
- If you go to your profile page then you cannot see who is online as the chat box shows the people who you interacted with recently while the old version showed the online friends
- If you do some private chat then this new Facebook chat is not suitable for you as all the conversations are stored and deleting that includes a lot of steps.
Although new chat brought many new features but still many people including myself prefer the old version as it only showed the names of people which were online.
